 To kill a mocking bird

Novel  by Harper Lee.
This novel reveales the injustice and segregation in the American society between the black and white. A lawyer named Atticus finch ,is assigned with a case to defend a black Tom Robinson who was blamed for rapping a white woman Ms.Helen .Atticas is a father of two children one girl named Jean louise finch, her nick name is scout and a son named Jem. Atticus has a servant named calpurnia who is a black woman.  In there neighbourhood is a house of Radley's. In that house Boo Radley resides who has not came out of his house for about 20 years. One day a boy named Dill came to stay with his aunt who was also a neighbour of Finch's .The children saw him and became friends .Dill used to come to stay with his aunt on summer vacations.3 of them were very curious about Boo Radley . Whenever Dill came on his summer vacations they used to play and think what Boo radley looks like and what does he do all day.

When vacations were over , school opened soon scout started going to school , she used to fight with the boys oftenly, but Atticus told her not to do so, so she tried to stay away from fights.Due to the case that Atticus was assigned ,the children also used to go through the taunts at school and outside.

Mr.Bob Ewell father of the girl who accused Tom Robinson for raping her spat on Mr.finch and used bad words for him.The children also somehow managed to go into the court and watch the proceedings of the case.Mr.finch was able to explain the reality very well as Tom Robinson was not guilty but the girl was so lonely and found a chance to get rid of her loneliness and depriveness by physical relationship with  Mr.Tom Robinson who was not willing and got afraid ran away as fast as possible .The girls father saw him from the window went inside the house and beat her daughter. A great effort by mr.finch made members of the jury to think once about the verdict but as the society never gives justice and rights to the blacks the verdict was announced against Mr.Tom Robinson.He was jailed where he tried to ran away and was shot dead.Now nothing was possible to do in this case.

Scout had a Halloween paignt at school her brother took her to the school where she was given the role of a ham.On there route back to home scout wore the costume as she was not able to dress up in his previous attire in dark. Mr.Bob Ewell attacked both of them and tried to kill them but someone resisted . Then scout saw a man taking his brother towards home she left her costume ran towards her home her father was very worried her brother was injured doctor was called then he left after checking Jem. Mr.Tate came and told Atticus that Mr.Bob Ewell was found dead under the tree where he found a costume that was of scout .

Atticus suspected maybe his son did it in self protection but Mr.Tate  said maybe Mr.Bob Ewell killed himself. The person who brought Jem to home was Arthur Radley(boo radley) .scout called him boo and she also took him back to his home .That night Atticus and scout stayed in the room where Jem was lying on the bed.
