Story of survival and self reliance Robinson Crusoe begins with the hunger of adventure ignoring parent's advice forbidding him from going to a voyage. On the way Moroccan pirates take Crusoe into slavery, he escapes and was rescued by a Portuguese ship . Crusoe started a new adventure. He landed in Brazil and became owner of a sugar plantation in search of slaves he undertook a trip to Africa , after surviving a storm, Crusoe and the others were shipwrecked. He became the only survivor landing on a shore. Alone on the island he started working for food and shelter he became a skilled craftsman learning farming. He constructed a small boat .Crusoe reflected on his earlier life , wicked life, disobeying his parents. He found a man's footprint and human bones which horrified him became cautious he spied on cannibels. Cannibals once landed on the island and a victim escaped Crusoe saved his life and named him Friday. Once again Crusoe this time with Friday rescued two people from cannibals one was a white man and the other was Friday's father. They planned a voyage to the mainland to rescue sixteen compatriots of the Spaniard. Crusoe and Friday remained on the island while other two went on the rescue mission and succeeded, week later they spied on another ship but they quickly learned that there was a mutiny on board. They managed to gain control of the ship. The grateful captain gave Crusoe gifts and took him with Friday to London. Some rebel crewman were left on the Island. Crusoe on his return to England learns that he has made a fortune from his plantation  he soon sold his plantation in Brazil for a good price, married and had three children. He was again persuaded to go on another voyage and started his voyage to his old Island, where seeing a community that has sprouted up. It finished with Crusoe's promise of further adventures .

A great read indeed has taken me along during the read to the voyage enjoying every part of it.
